Recently, SERVPRO of Van Nuys South got a new member to our fleet. Our Production Manager, Joey is the proud owner. It aids him in maneuvering from job to job helping our technicians. She is yet to be named, so if you see Joey out and about, feel free to give him your suggestions!

SERVPRO of Van Nuys South was called out to this flooded commercial building in Pacoima, CA. When we arrived there were 6 units affected, this was a CAT 3 Loss, which means there was black, contaminated water.

Whenever we are called to a job with possible mold, our primary concern is making sure it is removed with causing damage to health of those around you. This is especially important in high occupancy buildings such as the one in this picture. 

We were called out to perform a crawl space dry down at none other than our Marketing Representative's FAVORITE bakery, Susie Cakes. In anticipation of the plumbers arrival, we placed absorbent in the crawl space for optimal drying.  

This was a vacant store front that was previously occupied by a UPS Store. There was substantial damage by the time we were called out to it. Luckily there was very little contents and we were able to dry and do what little demolition we had to do, rather quickly.
